Is it possible to do a wildcard search of the records? As an example, I would like to search the public school pay records to find certain titles with certain words in the position, such as 'assistant' (where the title might be 'library assistant' or 'assistant superintendent' etc. I have tried * and % to no avail.

Thank you.

You can do searches using the "Position" box. If you are looking for all titles that have the word 'assistant', you can simply type 'assistant,' etc. However, if you want to do more detailed searches you're probably better served by downloading the data into excel and querying that way.

Keep in mind that not all data has position information and that when position information is available, it's not uniform. For example, 'assitant' may show up as 'asst.', 'assist', etc.
