| It's because there are too many fat cats getting huge salaries. These are the people that should be trimmed before cops and firemen. Below is a list of the top 20 employees in the Bronx Borough President's office. Keep in mind that this is ONLY the Bronx. There are FOUR other borough presidents with similar payrolls. Notice how many assistants, adminitrative managers and other fancy sounding positions there are. This is all for a job that has NO POWER. Borough president's departments are for show only. They don't make any laws or decisions or vote or anything. Oh wait, they do cut ribbons on new business openings and other stupid events like that. No wonder this city has no money.
